We're still alive!

Yes it is true. The Richardsons are still kickin. But maybe some of you have felt the way I feel right now sometimes when it's been so long since I've posted that I feel like my post better be good to make up for it. And I also have felt lately that we just have a boring life or something because nothing we've done lately has seemed really all that post worthy. But we did this weekend! :) We went down to St. George with Brian's family and it was so much fun! The unfortunate thing is that I didn't bring my digital camera. A couple years ago we got these disposable cameras and I found one so I figured I'd use that up, but sadly, it somehow got lost while we were boating. Maybe one of my nieces threw it in the water or something I don't know. Anyway, like I said, the first day we got to go boating! Boating is seriously one of my favorite things EVER! And I haven't been for two whole years so I was so excited to go. We went to this beautiful new lake called Sand Hollow that's near St. George and it was so pretty with all that red rock around it. But it was really windy so the water was way choppy so we just went tubing and of course I had to try wakeboarding again. I wouldn't have cared if there was like tsunami size waves I would have tried it. I did get up and had a blast so that was so much fun. Here is a pic of the lake since my camera is probably in it now:(The next day we got to go to the Grand Canyon. It was only like 2 1/2 hours from St. George and his dad was nice enough to take us. It was SOOO pretty and breathtaking! I had no idea it was so huge! Here is a pretty pic of it and I'll get on and post a couple pictures his dad took of us later.

Other than that we just hung out with his parents, ate out at yummy restaurants and had a lot of laughs. I love St. George so much! I swear I want to live there someday. I love the weather and it's so pretty!


But other than that we've been having a good summer. Just got done watching the Finals and of course Brian hated it because the Lakers won. I am sad about the Jazz losing, I was way into this season.

We've had a lot of visits from my family which is always fun. John and Meagan came a few weeks ago when she was flying out to Michigan. So John stayed to rest of the weekend and played Xbox with Brian literally like the whole weekend. Guys are weird--I have no idea why they think that is so fun but whatev. We had fun seeing them and their adorable little girl! And I got to see my sister Stacy and her two boys a couple weeks ago when she was on her way out to Idaho. It's always fun to see her since it's usually only a once a year kind of thing.

I am still working nights at the post office working from 10:30-7:00am. It's a pretty ridiculous schedule but you do what you gotta do. Brian is going to school and he is going to start working with me in about a month. Life is good. I'll try to post some pictures of us but I figured I needed to throw out something today
