Where are you Brooklyn?!?!

Well, my due date was 2 days ago and still no Brooklyn to hold in my arms! :( Brooklyn, you can come out now! We really want to hold and love you and cuddle with you! I just feel absolutely normal preggo. I don't feel like I've really had any contractions yet, so I really hope it starts soon! I think that I will be induced a week after my due date, so Thursday should be the latest day she comes I hope! Which is my Grandma Cupp's and my sister Rachel's birthdays so that would be fun! I'll keep you guys posted! :) Here are some baby bump pictures for you :/

33 weeks

37 weeks...it's grown a lot!!

40 weeks! Ready to pop!

And here is a sneak peak of the nursery. I was going to do a color scheme that is completely different, but I got all this free bedding from someone and it was really cute, so I couldn't pass it up. You can't pass up free! So I had to rethink everything, but I like the way it turned out. It's not completely done. I might have a few more things to add here and there, but this will give you a good idea of what it looks like

That dresser was an old, beat up dresser we got from Brian's parents, but with some sanding and a couple coats of spray paint, it looks like new!

Here is a close up of a few of the letters I made. I didn't want to spend a ton of money buying the big letters at a craft store, so I printed them off on my computer in a font I really liked and made them out of cardboard, poster board and hot glue. Then I covered them with different things like yarn, tissue paper, and scrapbook paper, etc. It was pretty time consuming but I LOVE them! It probably only cost me about $5 for all eight of them decorated and all. If I would have bought letters at Hobby Lobby, they are like $10 each for just the letter. Yikes!

Having Withdrawals...

I started my maternity leave on January 14 and although it's been very nice, it has been so BORING!!! I don't know what to do with myself all day! I need a baby to take care of and then I would have plenty to do all day! :) Brian and I are very lucky because we have probably spent about 97% of our time together the last 6 months or so because we work together. The only time we are ever apart is when he plays ball a couple times a week and if I go shopping for a couple hours on our days off. It has been pretty interesting. I don't think a lot of people could stand being with their spouse that much, but I love it and I think we've handled it well. Yes, I think we can get on each others nerves a little here and there, but overall it's great! Anyway, it's very weird for me to not be with him now and I just miss him so much all day! Tender! :)

Who wouldn't want to hang out with this cutie all the time? We have so much fun together! :)

But we sit by each other at work and listen to the radio together and I have become quite the sports expert because of it. We listen to all the sports AM radio shows and I have really come to love the NFL and NBA and a few of the funny sports shows. My favorite show is the Dan Patrick show. He is really funny and I am seriously having withdrawals not listening to him everyday! :) It plays on TV too, so I have found myself occasionally turning it on the past couple days to have it on in the background to stay sane! Weird, I know!

Anyway, yeah, I can't wait for my baby to get here!!!!! Then I will have time to watch lots of girly shows and movies and get away from the sports stuff! When is she going to get here?!!

Lately....

A lot has happened lately and I have some more catching up to do! I have the most amazing sisters and sisters-in-law! I had two baby showers a couple months ago and they were both so cute! Brian's sister Tammy threw me a shower for my Utah family and friends and it was so adorable! Unfortunately, my camera is horrible and the pictures didn't turn out so I don't have any right now. I'll have her email me some and I'll have to post them when I get them because it was seriously so cute! And then the next week my dear sisters threw me a shower in Rupert and it was so stinking cute too! Here are some pictures to prove it! :) They are all so talented! I wish I was more crafty and creative like them!

My sister Rachel made me the CUTEST blanket! I love it so much!

Brian's mom is truly one of the sweetest people I know! She is such an amazing woman! She just had shoulder surgery at the end of October and could barely lift her arm so she asked me to help her put up her tree this year. I wasn't going to put up my own tree because I was just so stressed with everything I needed to do for the baby and I didn't really want to think about putting it up and taking it down. Plus, my tree has all Jazz decorations and at that time the NBA was not going to happen this year, so I didn't want to make Brian sad everytime he looked at it! :) Anyway, one night I came home from work and she had snuck over to my house and put up a tree for me! I was supposed to put up hers and she put up mine! She is so sweet! And it was so cute too because it had cute pink ornaments, little baby carriages, and even spelled out her name! That meant so much to me and really taught me a very valuable lesson about service. I will never forget this Christmas tree and hope to be able to do something that nice for her someday!

And some other really great news is that the Jazz are playing this year! Wahoo! I'm honestly very excited! I have grown to become quite a passionate Jazz fan! :) Brian and I went to one of the preseason games after work one night! It was very fun, but not very comfortable being squished into those little chairs when you are very pregnant! :)

A much needed update :)

Alright well as you all know it has been a while since I have posted :) My bad! So I guess you could say I have a little catching up to do. This seems so intimidating because I don't even know where to start or what to post about, I think that is the reason it has taken me so long. Obviously so much has happened, it just seems almost overwhelming to write about it all, so I'm not going to :) I'll just post a few of the pictures that I have in my phone to give at least give a little somethin somethin and maybe someday I'll fill in some holes.

The most important/cool thing that has happened in the last year has been that Brian graduated from school! Yay! He graduated this summer from UVU and it is SO incredibly wonderful to be able to spend more time with him before the babe comes :) Brian and I work together at the post office and honestly, I love it! I think some people would get sick of being together all the time, but we have so much fun together and just make each other laugh constantly so we have a good time! :) We have the most chill job ever typing addresses and listening to books, the radio, or the iPod. I've even gotten him to listen the the Harry Potter books with me. Oh ya! HP for life! :) But it's funny because since we spend literally 99% of our time together, he will always tell me to go shopping for a few hours on our days off so we can have some time alone and he'll just play Madden or something. Don't mind if I do! I take full advantage of being given permission to shop for a few hours no questions asked :)

Anyway, we have had a really fun year and are both SO excited for our baby to come in January! Here are a few REALLY random pictures from the summer and stuff...

We love playing tennis together! I am not very good but am getting a lot better so it's pretty fun.

But this time I was 12 weeks pregnant and so I was trying to be a little more careful and not chase down every ball :)

This was at this burger place in Salt Lake called Big H's. Highly recommend it! Delicious! :)

Just drinking some sort of virgin Pina Colada at Red Lobster on our anniversary. Love that place!

By far the saddest thing we did was make the decision to give our amazing, adorable dog to Brian's aunt. It was seriously the HARDEST thing I think I've ever had to do. We were just never home, and don't have a back yard for him to play in so he was cooped up in our house all day and hardly got to play at all. He was so full of energy and loved to play, so we just thought he would have such a better life with Brian's aunt. She has 3 other dogs and LOVES them like her children. He is spoiled rotten now and can play and run around outside ALL day. We love and miss him so much!!!!

I'm sorry I know the quality in all these pictures is horrible but oh well. Anywho, I really do want to get better at posting and I'm sure I will once I have the baby and actually have pictures and stuff to post. But I love you all! And now you don't have to see my worst post "Christmas Tunes" on your screens anymore! Wahoo! :)

Christmas Tunes

So I absolutely love getting to listen to Christmas music for a whole month of the year. I love Christmas music and it seems like I have a huge range of what and who I listen to this time of year, so I thought I'd share some of the music that I probably should be embarrassed to admit that I listen to it, but I'm not and I love it :)

We'll start out with Wham, "Last Christmas". Love this song! Wham is kind of a funny group. The song I think of most when I think of them is that song from Zoolander, "Wake me up before you Go-go". I love that song it makes me laugh. Anyway, Brian HATES this Wham Christmas song, so I have to make sure to sing it loud and proud to him every year! :)


Next up we have the N'SYNC Christmas album. And my absolute favorite song on the cd is their accapella version of "Oh Holy Night". It is so great! I have loved N'SYNC since sixth grade and always will! :)


Another favorite is in the Jim Carey movie "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and the song is called "Christmas of Love". It is such a great song, you guys have got to listen to it if you haven't heard it already.

And last but not least, the song that never fails to bring a tear to my eye and not because it's a particulary touching song, but because I miss this couple so incredibly much is the one and only Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey singing "Baby it's Cold Outside". I miss those two so bad! I wish they would get remarried, but they're both now engaged to other people. And I'm curious to find out if she is really pregnant. Time will tell!

Anyway, I love Christmas! I'm so excited for it this year! I have lots of fun things planned to do with Brian to make it a really memorable Christmas so I will post more later!

Sharks and Beaches

A few days ago I made cupcakes with my nieces it was so fun, they are such little cuties! We made shark and beach cupcakes....As well as some barbeque ones. Here we have some hot dogs, kabobs, and steaks on the gril :)

So Michelle and Adam were kind enough to invite us to go camping with them by Bear Lake. It was so much fun! I had to hurry and post this before Michelle because we have a lot of the same pics so HAHA MICHELLE! I beat you! :) But I really do LOVE bear lake! It is so pretty! I don't know how that water is so blue!

This was one of my favorite things! Michelle bought this little raft so we just floated and laid out on it together, it was a hoot!

And finally, another exciting event this week was that Brian's little sister Natalie got her mission call to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida Spanish speaking so that's way awesome! Now in his immediate family, 6 out of the 8 adults have gone on missions, which is pretty crazy and cool!
